No motorcycle license required! All you need is a valid driver’s license. The Slingshot is classified as an Auto-Cycle, so no special license is needed in Florida.

Florida no longer require helmets to be worn to drive Polaris Slingshots. Here at M2 Slingshot we recommend always wearing a helmet. At a minimum we require our customers wear eye protection (sunglasses usually work fine).

NO – Automatic transmissions are now offered from the factory, and we have them.

Prior to 2020, all Slingshots were 5-speed manual transmissions from the factory. 

As of 2020, automatic transmissions are now offered from the factory! We at M2 Slingshot think that driving a Slingshot is a completely unique experience, whether you drive an automatic or manual!

You can drive as much as you want. The miles are unlimited!

YES – Please fill using only Premium Unleaded, as these are fine tuned machines that provide over 200 horsepower, and we don’t want to see that degraded by low grade fuels.

We try to send every Slingshot out with a full tank, and request that you return it the same way, so that the next renter can enjoy the same experience as you. We want you to spend your time riding and having fun cruising on the road, not worrying about where the nearest gas station is.

Our vehicles are available to drivers 21 and older. All renters are required to use our insurance. Insurance costs are $15 per day, but are now INCLUDED in the daily rates we provide, and all drivers are required to sign our liability waiver and rental agreement.

Also, a $750 security deposit is required to take the Slingshot out. But when the Slingshot is brought back without damage it will be refunded.

Due to the time it takes to check in and out the Slingshots, as well as the risk of damage even during a short ride, we no longer offer less than a 24-hour rental.

Some exceptions can be made upon request but, due to demand, we usually reserve this option for weekday renters on a one-off basis.

Yes – Nearby areas have free delivery. We can also deliver to areas that are further out for a small fee.

Hosting on Turo allows us to minimize our upfront costs and provide you with competitive rental prices.

Turo manages payment collection and insurance in case it is needed.
